Usually when you fire a gun, you expect the bullet to travel away from you, unless of course you aimed it at your head.
Every now and then, though, the universe likes to play a little joke on us called “physics”. Physics is what happened to this man, known only as Willy, who decided to go out into the open wilds of Utah to get in some shooting practice.
Totally understandable, Willy. Never know when you’re gonna need to break out the .50 caliber BMG rifle and kill some zombies.
In the video, Willy takes aim at a steel plate positioned around 1000 yards away. That’s the distance of about ten football fields.
In fairness to Willy, it was a good shot. The bullet successfully hits the plate, but then physics happens. Immediately following the ping, you hear a descending whistle as the bullet travels back towards Willy. It bounces off the ground before connecting with his ear muffs, destroying them.
“Woo! That’s the last one of them we’re doing,” he shouts. Good idea, Willy.
