WATCH: Magician tricks man into thinking he’s actually invisible

Do you know what it’s like to be invisible? Jonathan does.

Or at least, he thinks he does.

Magician Justin Willman conducted a social experiment on Netflix’s new show Magic For Humans, which started with an ad being put up on Craigslist that asked for help in convincing a stranger that they’re invisible.

Everyone involved agreed that no matter what the person ended up doing, the fake audience would pretend they couldn’t see them at all.

Justin Willman put on a pretend magic show as everyone waited for one unsuspecting passerby to come and volunteer to be a part of his trick.

It wasn’t long before Jonathan stumbled upon the show, and he soon found himself the victim of a pretty hilarious ruse.

Everyone had to convince Jonathan that he was really invisible, so they planted another volunteer who was sat down on a chair and covered with a blanket. When the blanket was removed, he disappeared. But he was in on it.

As you’ll see for yourself, Jonathan pretty much bought the whole thing there and then. But he still needed to be fully convinced. That’s where the audience came in.
